We change again to Daylight Saving Time (and lose an hour of sleep) on Sunday, March 13, 2016. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 changed when we change the clocks. Since 2007, we swap the clocks on the second Sunday in March (to Daylight Saving Time) and the first Sunday in November. This prolonged the period of time during the year that we observe DST.
