Final June I began to be taught to quilt. Mom and I work on quilts together. She does many of the piecing, I do a lot of the quilting. We noticed within the nursing home a lady who by no means seemed to have any guests, and always appeared very very frightened and confused. We are going to call her Sarah to guard her actual identification. We learned from the nursing staff she certainly by no means had visitors and was always afraid, depressed and confused. We made Sarah a lap quilt to have over her legs when she was in her wheelchair.

This week I completed knitting a rag rug runner. The thought behind this mission was to have a place for my kids’ boots to dry after they go out sledding. You understand…someplace apart from straight in front of the door. I like that my children aren’t too previous for sledding yet, regardless that one of them is taller than I’m! They certainly make good use of the hill in our again yard. It is so nice!
